InCheck InBox™ data acquisition modules along with sensors are the only hardware that has to be installed at the plant. Once the modules are connected to the internet, they automatically make a connection to the remote server and start collecting and sending out data. The modules are designed for industrial environments and the heavy-duty option provides protection within full industrial temperature range.

Each module can collect data from up to 16 sensors. Dynamic vibration data or scalar data such as temperature, oil condition, pressure, etc. can all be collected within the same module. All data acquisition parameters are set through the server's user interface, minimizing the setup effort in the field.

InBox™ data acquisition modules are designed to be installed near the machines being monitored to minimize wiring. A module is mounted to a wall or a supporting structure. The sensors are installed at the machine and connected to the module through external multi-pin connectors.

Data acquisition modules can be easily set up with a laptop computer through a direct connection. Using a web browser interface all network parameters for wired or wireless communication, security options, and server address can be easily set up. The module can scan for wireless networks in range if multiple networks are available.

Once connection to the local network has been established, the module connects to the InSite™ application server and receives instructions on how to collect and send the data. The data collection process is designed to take place automatically, for unattended 24/7 operation. Users set data acquisition parameters through the web portal used for monitoring and data analysis.
