Physical assets included in a predictive maintenance program may require different parameters to be monitored for the program to be effective. As operating and process parameters vary with each piece of equipment, it is important to select a set of measurements that would become key indicators of a machine condition of performance.
InCheck Technologies helps its customers to make this selection through field evaluation of machine operating parameters and comparison with the objectives of a predictive maintenance program. In some cases a quick test is required and performed. As a result, InCheck develops recommendations on quantity, locations, and types of sensors that are necessary for efective condition monitoring.
| System Installation
For newly commisioned systems InCheck Technologies provides installation and startup services that may include:
- Installation of sensors including surface preparation, drilling and tapping of mouning holes, installation of mounting adapters where required, wiring and wire termination
- Installation of InBox™ data acquisition modules, power, sensor, and network wiring and termination
- Installation of additional network components
- Network configuration
- InSite™ system configuration and start up
| Machine Troubleshooting
In some cases data collected with an online condition monitoring system does not give enough information for full machine diagnostics and troubleshooting. When a field visit is required, InCheck Technologies can perform a series of tests for machine troubleshooting backed by many years of field test experience of InCeck engineers. The tests performed may include:
- Operating vibration tests
- Modal analysis for a machine structure
- Operating deflection shape
- Ultrasound emission evaluations
- Infrared radiation emission tests
Along with test reports InCheck provides recommendations on potential solutions that could be applied to alleviate identified problems.
