| Data Flow
InSite™ Application server
is the heart of the system. It communicates with InBox™ data acquisition modules and receives data from them. Then, the data is processed and compared with configurable alert levels and if these levels are exceeded an alert is generated and sent to the users. The data can be stored in the database, sent to the users for analysis, or processed more, depending on user's requirements.
| Data Processing
- Dynamic data processing for vibration analysis including time and spectrum domain data, filtering, integrating, averaging, bearing demodulation, and order tracking algorithms
- Overall values and static data are processed and tracked for trend analysis. Historic data trends can be plotted for user selected time ranges.
| Data Archiving
- Integrated relational database for data archiving, event logging, configuration storage, and user data management
- Unique history data browser helps find past data and bring it into the analysis pane for comparison with current data
| Alert Generation
- Incoming data is continuously checked against alert settings with the use of trip rules. Trip parameters such as time delay and data smoothing can be flexibly configured to prevent false alerts.
- Generated alerts are stored, sent to GUI, and can be distributed to user via various media, such as e-mail, fax, pager, text message, etc.
- The alert status is displayed in the navigation tree in GUI. The alert status is propagated up the tree to alert user even if the tree branch with a trouble point is closed
