data monitoring and analysis

|  Graphing

A dynamic DataView graph handler allows plotting data in different formats and compare multiple traces in the same graph with minimum effort. Various data functions can be called change presentation of data. The graph can be interactively zoomed for detailed analysis. Various cursor options aid in measurements from any graph.

|  Vibration Analysis

  • Waveform Analysis - Visual identification of periodic events in the signal. Measurements it time scale and signal magnitude
  • Analysis in acceleration, velocity (single integration), or displacement units (double integration)
  • Spectrum Analysis - FFT and enhanced spectra. Identify fault frequencies and relate them to corresponding component failures. Analyze harmonics and compare multiple spectra
  • Bearing Signal Enveloping - Identify developing bearing faults sooner
  • Order Analysis - Spectral data in machine cycle domain, frequency line become orders of rotating speed and independent of it. Fault frequencies are easily identified as orders at any machine speed.

|  Ultrasonic Signal Analysis

  • Signals obtained with permanently installed ultrasonic sensors have a frequency range of 40 +/- 2 kHz. At this frequency structure-born ultrasound energy generated by the running machine significantly increases during any metal-to-metal contact, providing an early indication of lubricant deficiency in bearings
  • The signal is heterodyned and brought to a lower frequency range where it can be analyzed similar to a vibration signal. It can be subjected to frequency analysis or passed through a bearing demodulation algorithm. The advantage is that the the information is obtained at an earlier stage, when the damage is still too little to produce a noticeable change in vibration
  • The heterodyned ultrasonic signal can be listened to for detection of sound patterns in the equipment. This helps in early detection of loss of lubricant, excess of lubricant, and other anomalies in operation

|  Trend Analysis

  • Virtual dashboard provides dynamically changing views of overall parameters and static data. The data is plotted in a continually updated graph, creating a live trend
  • Trend analysis can be performed for any history interval. Multiple data channels can be compared

|  Historic Data Analysis

  • Interactive historic data browser help select history data for analysis. Data from multiple machines or dates can be compared in the same graph. The data in history window is shown as a data graph plotted against the time scale.
